Rao said, "I really liked the film. The entire story will unfold in a day, from morning to evening. I have bought the remake rights. My long time associate Ravi Kumar will direct it.” He added further, "It's a universal concept that good will be followed by bad and so on. We thought this premise is apt for a story in any language. The cast is yet to be finalised.” Rao, the 66-year-old director who has created more than 100 films, said about his previously planned project, "I was supposed to direct a film but it got delayed due to several reasons. I haven't dropped that idea and I intend to start working on it.
