Official Update: Kajal Aggarwal In Chiranjeevi’s 150th Film

Chiranjeevi’s 150th flick was in pursuit of a female lead. Many actresses were considered for the role, namely Anushka Shetty, Nayanthara, Tamannaah. In fact, B-town divas like Deepika Padukone and Nargis Fakhri were also among the touted names.

But, actress Kajal Aggarwal has finally been roped for the film as Chiranjeevi’s lead lady. A source told IANS, “Until last week she was only under consideration, but she was finally signed on last evening. She's really excited to be part of the project as it happens to be a very prestigious project.”

It is the first time that Kajal is paired opposite Chiru. The 150th flick of megastar Chiranjeevi is the Telugu remake of the Tamil blockbuster, ‘Kaththi’. It will be directed by V. V. Vinayak under Konidela Productions banner. It is also reported that Kajal has demanded 2.5 crore for this forthcoming movie.
