OMG! Janatha Garage Squashes Baahubali Record

Recently, on August 12, the audio and trailer of bilingual action film, ‘Janatha Garage’, was launched. This Koratala Siva’s directorial venture has smashed the record of epic movie ‘Baahubali’. In fact, flicks like ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ and ‘Srimanthudu’ also have to face a setback.

Within 4 days of its launch, the trailer of ‘Janatha Garage’ has bagged 3 million hits on YouTube. It accumulated 47,000 likes and 2,400 dislikes. In this way the film has created a record of maximum number of likes for a South cinema in the shortest period. It thrashed the biggies like ‘Baahubali’, ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’, ‘Srimanthudu’ and ‘Nannaku Prematho’.

‘Janatha Garage’ is funded by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, and C. V. Mohan under their banner Mythri Movie Makers. The film is slated to release on September 2. It features Mohanlal, N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nithya Menen in the lead roles. As a cherry on the cake, Kajal Aggarwal will be seen with Tarak in a special appearance in a song.
