Pawan Kalyan says he’s taking the plunge, will quit acting for political dreams

Pawan Kalyan has once again reiterated that he will quit acting to pursue his political dreams. While addressing a meeting of party activists from Anantpur on Sunday, he said that he is only acting to earn a livelihood and not for the sake of amassing wealth.

He has clarified that he is a part time actor and full-time politician. He was quoted by Deccan Chronicle saying, “I don’t quite understand full time and part time political activity talk. “I know several leaders who have amassed wealth and are sitting at home, but are still called ‘full time’ politicians,” he said, adding he is still acting because some people are still dependent on him. “However, I’m prepared to forego acting for the sake of taking up brisk political activity for my party Jana Sena.”

On the career front, the actor is currently shooting for his next project with director Trivikram. This is third time the duo have joined hands after Jalsa and Attarintiki Daredi. Also starring Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel, the project is gearing up Sankranti release next year. Apparently, Pawan wants to do as many projects as possible before 2019 elections.
