Pawan Kalyan’s Next With S.J. Surya To Be Remake Of ‘Vedalam’

Last month it was reported that Pawan Kalyan has joined hands with director S.J. Surya for his next. It was being said that the film will be a sequel of 2001 hit film ‘Kushi’. But the duo has not collaborated for the sequel.

Reports suggest that the movie will be remake of Ajith’s recent blockbuster ‘Vedalam’. A source from the unit of Powerstar’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh revealed, "After discussing several story lines, they have zeroed in on of Vedalam. The duo felt the plotline of the Ajith-starrer would be perfect for Pawan Kalyan. A revenge drama, the film has the perfect mix of action and entertainment".

The source added that the director has started visiting the sets and the producer of ‘Vedalam’ recently met the Gabbar Singh star. The team has begun with the pre-production activities. The project is expected to go on floors once the actor wraps up his current commitment.
