Pooja Hegde To Play A Female Lead in ‘Saaho’

Hunt for leading lady for Prabhas’s upcoming film ‘Saaho’ has been making the rounds for quite some time. Several actresses from south to Bollywood were approached for the role. However, they declined the offer.

And now we have heard that the makers have approached actress Pooja Hegde to play the female lead in the film. “Ever since Pooja debuted into Telugu cinema with 'Oka Laila Kosam' and was later seen in 'Mukunda,' many Telugu filmmakers have wanted to cast her,” revealed a source. Pooja will also be seen opposite Allu Arjun in the forthcoming movie ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’.

Pooja was not seen in any movie post her debut movie 'Mohenjo Daro' in which she played the female lead opposite Hrithik Roshan. It was believed that the actress did not sign any movie because her contract did not allow her to do so. Grapevine is buzz that she will not continue doing films in Tollywood because of good offers in fashion industry.
