Pooja Ramachandran's Role A Challenging One In The Upcoming 'DSP’!

Actress, VJ, and model Pooja Ramachandran is known for her traditional roles in movies such as Swamy Ra Ra, Adavi Kaachina Vennela and Kanchana 2. The Tollywood star will be next seen as the lead character in the upcoming Telugu movie ‘DSP’. The movie will be helmed by Srikishore.

Srikishore has previously helmed movies like ‘Sasesham’ and ‘Bhoo’. The movie is also known as ‘Devi Sri Prasad’ and is bankrolled by Aakrosh and RV Raju. Pooja is said to be playing the lead role portraying an off-beat character as a heroine in the upcoming crime-thriller movie. On being asked about portraying an off-beat role, the actress was quoted as saying, “I felt that if I have to be different, I need to come up with challenging roles. I believed my part had the potential and scope for a great performance, and hence accepted the project”.

According to rumours, the storyline of the movie is said to have a large amount of explicit content involving Pooja’s character. On being asked about how the actress managed to portray such a character, Pooja revealed, “Initially, it was difficult shooting for the steamy scenes, particularly for the close-up shots, but later, I grew in confidence and gave my best. It was a fantastic experience and after a long time, I felt satisfied with my role”.
