Poorna Roped In For Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao’s Next

Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao is quite a famous name down the South. The filmmaker is also known as a remake specialist and has many hit films to his credit including Subhamastu, Subhakankshalu, Suswagatam and Suryavamsam. His last directed film was Speedunnodu which released in 2016.

The latest in the front is that the filmmaker is prepping up for his yet untitled upcoming film. The flick stars Nandini Rai and Chitra Shukla as the leading ladies. While the film already has two leading ladies, the team is all set to do an addition to its cast.

If reports are to be believed, actress Poorna has been approached for playing an important part in the film. For male leads, actors Allari Naresh and Sunil have been roped in. About Poorna’s role, Bhimaneni said, “It’s a crucial and an impactful role and we need someone who has the stature of a heroine. Since Poorna has played leading lady roles several times over the years, add to it the fact that she’s open to doing meaty roles too, we roped her in”.

The filmmaker added that Poorna’s role will be a surprise for the audience.
