Prabhas to appear as Prithviraj Chauhan in Baahubali

Rumours are making headlines that theYoung Rebel Starof Telugu cinema Prabhas has been roped in to play the role of legendary Rajput monarch Prithviraj Chauhan in his forthcoming filmBaahubali, slated for a 2014 release. It has also been heard that his love interest Sanyogita will be played by Anushka Shetty while the role of his brother will be played by Rana Daggubati.

No one from the movie’s unit has confirmed the news as of now, nor has denied the same. The film, set in the era of 1000 AD, will be full of action and battle scenes. S. S. Rajamouli is said to be the perfect one to helm the script ofBaahubali. If the rumours come out to be true, it would be a treat for the viewers to see a 6-feet-tall actor Prabhas playing with his sword, riding horses and performing some mind-blowing action stunts.It’s expected that the film will cost the producers around 100 crores and it will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu simultaneously.
