Prabhu Deva In Hospital?

The veteran dance choreographer, film director and actor, Prabhu Deva, who was occupied in the filming of 'Abhinetri' has been hospitalised. As per the latest reports, Prabhu has suffered a back injury. Prabhu, who will share the screen space with Tamannaah in this film, was shooting the title track at a suburban studio along with Sonu, on Tuesday, September 13.

Reportedly, while shooting, Prabhu Deva who was also choreographing the number met with an accident and injured his back. As a result, the shoot was stalled for five hours and he had to be rushed to a hospital. The shoot of the film slated to release on October 7 has to be put on hold.

Sonu, who is making his production debut with this film, confirmed the buzz, telling a tabloid, "Yes, we were shooting the title track with a huge unit of around 500 junior artistes and around 350 dancers. During the shoot Prabhu sir suddenly suffered a back injury. He was in unbearable pain. We rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was given some shots and was on painkillers for a major part of the day." He further added, "Prabhu sir is on the road to recovery but has been advised rest for the next couple of days."

Desimartini hopes that Prabhu Deva soon regains health.
