Prakash Raj To Play This Role In Legendary Actress Savithri Biopic 'Mahanati'

The buzz around the upcoming movie ‘Mahanati’ is at an all-time high. The movie is a biopic based on the life and legacy of the legendary actress of the past, Savithri. The role of Savithri will be portrayed by Keerthy Suresh.

According to sources, the production of the movie is being done on a speedy rate. Recently, the makers of the biopic have roped in Prakash Raj. The superstar will be portraying the role of the iconic producer Chakrapani, who bankrolled scores of blockbuster movies under the banner of Vauhini Productions banner.

‘Mahanati’ is helmed by Nag Ashwin and bankrolled by producer Swapna Dutt and his father and senior producer Ashwini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Films. The biopic also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Dulquer Salmaan in the lead roles.
