Priyamani not interested in playing Karnam Malleswari’s role

Rubbishing the rumours that she will essay the role of Olympic medal winner Karnam Malleswari in Suman Dubey’s next directorial film, talented South actress Priyamani has said that she is not doing the film. The actress refused to speak more on the topic and dismissed all the queries saying "I'm just not doing it. I'm not doing the movie. As I understand it, the movie is not a biopic".

Sources said that the director recently made an offer to Priyamani and also shown her the plot, but the national award winning actress was visibly not very impressed with the storyline. In the meantime, the actress is doing a multi-lingual period flick,Angulikaand also has many interesting films in her hand, including Telugu filmThikka, Malayalam filmsPerfume&Yes I amand also a Kannada film,Lakshmi.

"Yes, there are some exciting films in the offing and I'm very excited. I'm keeping my fingers crossed at the moment," says the star.
