R. Madhavan To Play Villain In 'Thani Oruvan' Remake?

Earlier it was reported that Ram Charan will team up with Surender Reddy for the remake of Tamil blockbuster 'Thani Oruvan'. Now the news has been confirmed and the audiences will now be expecting the movie to start as soon as possible. The project is expected to go on floors after the release of Ram Charan starrer ‘Bruce Lee’.

 Even before the start of Telugu version of the Mohan Raja directorial, a lot of names have been linked with the project. Last month, it was being said that Mahesh Babu would star in the remake of the Jayam Ravi starrer. But later the rumour died, and Ram Charan was announced as the leading actor of the venture.

Reports suggested that Rana Daggubati will be seen playing the villain in the movie. But now, sources claim that R. Madhavan will be playing the role of the baddie in the flick. D.V.V.Danayya, who is currently producing ‘Bruce Lee’, will bankroll the yet-to-be titled film.
