Raashi Khanna Loves Comedy, Reveals What She Was Waiting For

Actress Raashi Khanna, who is all set to be seen in the upcoming films Touch Chesi Choodu and Tholi Prema, recently said, “I don’t like being put into a category”. It seems the actress is open to all kind of genres and wants to explore herself. She was last seen in Malayalam film Villain for which she was acclaimed.

Talking about her choice of roles in films, the actress said, “The role I was waiting for came in the form of Varsha in Tholi Prema. It’s always exciting to be part of films where you matter and add value. This is one such character for me. I believe the film will establish me as an actor because I have put in great effort to be a character I couldn’t relate to even at a basic level”.

She further revealed that she has three different looks in the film as her character spans 19 to 25 years. She said that it is not easy to transform into a character physically. She said, “I had to put on weight for one of the roles. That did pose continuity issues with my other films”. She also revealed about her stint in Touch Chesi Choodu, where she is seen in a comic avatar. She said that she enjoys comedy and it was a great experience being part of the film.
