Raashi Khanna To Romance Ravi Teja In Chakri's Film

Ravi Teja has stayed away from the limelight in the recent past. After the release of ‘Bengal Tiger’, the actor collaborated with director Venu Sri Ram for ‘Yevado Okadu’. But he later walked out of the film and then joined hands with ‘Balupu’ assistant director Chakri and since then there has been no update about the project. Now the leading lady for the Mass Maharaja has been decided.

According to reports, his ‘Bengal Tiger’ co-star Raashi Khanna will play the female lead in the flick. A source close to the film's unit confirmed thew news and said, "The film is a fast paced action entertainer and the filmmakers were looking to cast a glamorous face. Amy Jackson was in contention for the role initially, but the filmmakers decided to cast Raashi instead, as they felt she would be better suited for the role".

Currently, the director is working on the script of the film, tentatively titled as ‘Robin Hood’. After the final draft is ready, the project will go on floors next month. S. Thaman will be scoring music for the film which will be bankrolled by D.V.V. Danayya.
