Raashi Khanna Roped In For Ram Charan’s Next?

A while ago, Desimartini reported that Ram Charan has been signed as the male lead for director Sukumar’s forthcoming flick. It was touted that the project will be a science fiction film, but Sukumar denied the rumours and revealed that the impending project will have a village backdrop. A source close to the development of this film has reported that Raashi Khanna is being considered to play the female lead in this project.

“Talks have been on for a while now and if everything goes well, she will be paired opposite the actor for the first time. Raashi has been very choosy about her scripts and is consciously trying to strike a balance between commercial films and films that give her a scope to perform. She is looking at this as a rare combination of both,” shares a source.

Well, any official announcement regarding Raashi being the lead lady of the 46-year-old director’s flick is yet-not-made. But, the source has said that the decision will be taken soon. If things happen as anticipated, it will mark the first on-screen collaboration of Raashi and Ram. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling the film.
