Raashi Khanna Turns Poet, Venturing Into Short Film Space

‘Believe In You’, is the title of Raashi Khanna’s upcoming video which is her first project in the short film space. The video, which promotes self confidence and inspires change, will be released on March 8, which is celebrated as International Women’s Day. Raashi has also produced the video which has been directed by Jennifer Alphonse.

The actress spoke about the video and explained, “I will be venturing into production with this video which is really close to my heart. It is based on the simplest and quietest revolution of believing in oneself. I became a part of it with the hope that this thought will inspire and transform everyone to be the best version of themselves”.

Raashi has also written a poem, the first few lines of which read, “I am not the size of my jeans, I am the size of my smile. I am not a number on a weighing machine, I am the strength that I carry. I am not the complexion I am born with, I am the blush on my cheek. I am not the patches on my skin, I am the scars I have endured”.

Looks like the actress chose her rising popularity to promote awareness and self respect. Good on you Raashi!
