Rajinikanth's ‘2.0’ Kick Starts

The sequel of 2010 blockbuster 'Enthiran' went on floors yesterday. The film has been titled '2.0'. The makers of the film planned to launch the film in a grand manner, but due to the problems caused to people by Chennai floods, they launched the film in very simple manner.

 Though the film's launch was not a grand event, but the film will surely be one of the biggest films. According to reports, the shooting of the film started and the first shot involved superstar Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar was also present during the first day of the shoot, he will also be playing a crucial role in the film.

 Chairman of Lyca Group Mr. Subas Karan and music composer of the film A.R. Rahman, also joined the crew of the mega budget project. Reports suggest that veteran dialogue writer Jayaraj has been appointed. Also, Oscar winner Resul Pookutty will be responsible for sound designing. Legacy Effects, a leading company for Animatronics, which has worked on films like 'Jurassic Park', 'Iron Man' and 'Avengers', have been signed for the film. Mary.E.Vogt, who has designed costume for movies like 'Tron' and 'Watchman', is also part of the film. The crew also consist of action director Kenny Bates of Transformers fame. The VFX department will be headed by Life of Pi fame John Hughes and Walt from Taufilms. The film will definitely match the international standards.
