Blockbuster director Koratala Siva made his directorial debut with action drama film Mirchi in 2013. The filmmaker has till now helmed three blockbuster projects and is occupied with his fourth, starring Kiara Advani and Mahesh Babu. If latest reports are to be believed, the director will team up actor Ram Charan for his fifth directorial.
Charan is busy with Sukumar’s Ranga-sthalam and will start shooting for the flick in the summer of 2018. Helmed by Koratala, the flick will be bankrolled by Charan himself under his home banner Konidela Productions, collaborating with Niranjan Reddy of Matinee Entertainments. As per a source, “Charan will begin work on this film soon after he wraps up Rangasthalam. Siva will begin pre-production after he wraps up Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu. After their earlier project didn’t kick off, it is now that things finally fell into place for them to work together”.
Earlier, there were reports of the actor and filmmaker duo of teaming up for a flick. However, due to reasons best known to them, the project didn’t work out. We know what a superb director is Koratala and a massive fan following that Charan holds, therefore, seeing the two together will be a treat for their fans.
