Ram Gopal Varma Takes A Dig At National Film Awards By Sighting Aamir Khan's Example!

Ram Gopal Varma did it again! The director is never out of news as he is always embroiled in some or the other controversy in the wake of his controversial statements. Just days ago, the Satya director made derogatory remarks on actor Tiger Shroff and now it is time for the National Film Awards.

In his tweets on Twitter, the filmmaker questioned the credibility of the National Film Awards. He said, “Fact that Aamir khan,the greatest film maker of india does not attend any award events including national award speaks about those events. Highest quality films are made by Aamir and that he doesn't care to be measured by any Indian award committee including national speaks loud. A Single truth about mingling relationships is,who r single r always eager 2 mingle nd those who already mingled r eager to b single”.

Well, this is now new to the director as he has never shied away in making negative remarks on anything. On a related note, Akshay Kumar won the National Award in the best actor category at the recent 64th National Film Awards. However, what stirred a controversy was that name of Aamir Khan’s blockbuster movie Dangal and Manoj Bajpayee’s Aligarh were not there. However, National Awards Jury Chairperson Priyadarshan later explained that there is no point in honoring an actor when he doesn’t want to be honored.
