Rana Daggubati Feels Cinema Has Power To Recreate Any Scenario

Known for portraying larger-than-life films on screen, Rana Daggubati is high on demand now-a-days, both in the Hindi cinema industry and down the South too.  The handsome actor, who is ready with his upcoming Telugu-Hindi bilingual film Ghazi, feels that cinema has the power to recreate any scenario. If reports are to be believed, the actor chose to do Ghazi because it has an interesting story to tell.

Ghazi is India's first submarine warfare film based on the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi, a Pakistani submarine, during the 1971 India-Pakistan war.  He said Ghazi is a national film as it has been made as a bilingual and has dubbed in Tamil too.

The Baahubali actor went on to share his belief in films, asserting that cinema deserves the credit for bringing forth the untold stories from the past. He said, "If not for cinema, these stories will remain history. The whole sinking of PNS Ghazi could be recreated only because we decided to make it as a film. Cinema has that power to bring such stories to life. It can recreate any scenario".

Helmed by Sankalp Reddy, the film is being bankrolled by PVP Cinema. The film, which stars Taapsee Pannu, Atul Kulkarni, Kay Kay Menon and Om Puri, is all set to release on February 17.
