Rangasthalam Led Me To A Journey Of Self-Discovery: Sukumar

As Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni’s upcoming period revenge drama, Rangasthalam, is nearing its release, filmmaker Sukumar is excited than ever. Helmed by Sukumar, Rangasthalam is being bankrolled by Y. Naveen, Y. Ravi Shankar and C. V. Mohan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers. Sharing about the film, the director said that making the film was like soul searching.

He said, “It felt like I was searching for myself, my true identity, and reinventing myself. And the process only rejuvenated me. This film is close to my heart and I was on a high throughout the film”. He added that the making of Rangasthalam led him to a journey of self-discovery.

Sukumar also said that the film has also brought positive changes in its lead actor Ram Charan. He continued, “His emotions are genuine and it elevated his character graph. Initially, I was apprehensive whether Charan will accept the role, but he believed in the script had raw emotions”.

The film will hit the theatres on March 30.
