Rashmika Mandanna Will Play A Cricketer In Vijay Deverakonda’s Dear Comrade

Kannada actress, Rashmika Mandanna who made her memorable debut in Tollywood recently will play a cricketer in the upcoming movie, ‘Dear Comrade’. The actress was chosen as Karnataka’s Most Desirable Woman of 2017. Vijay Deverakonda will play the lead character in the upcoming flick which is directed by debutant Bharat Kamma.

As per reports, the movie will start rolling from June. The actress is currently busy shooting for Kannada action entertainer titled Yajamana featuring popular actor Darshan. She made her debut Kannada movie, Kirik Party. Earlier, the director Bharat rubbished all the rumours about Dear Comrade being a remake of Dulquer Salmaan ’s Mollywood movie, Comrade in America (CIA).

Moreover, Rashmika has earlier worked with Vijay in her second movie. Further, Deverakonda is expected to complete the shoot of his upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual movie Nota. The flick is said to be a political drama directed by Anand Shankar. Mehreen Pirzada is playing the female lead character in the movie.
