Release of Rajini's Kochadaiyaan to be delayed to avoid clash with Son Of Sardar?

If rumours are to be believed then makers of megastar Rajinikanths much-anticipated film Kochadaiyaan are planning to postpone the Diwali release of the film to avoid a clash with Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Son Of Sardar. People are eagerly waiting to see the superstar in a new avatar in Kochadaiyaan, which is the actors first film after the last years health scare. However, now it is being said that as Sonakshis popularity has surpassed that of Deepika Padukone after the super success of Rowdy Rathore, it will not be wise to release the mega-budget film with Son Of Sardar as it can affect the films business in North India. The producers, however, have denied that they are scared of releasing the film in North India during Diwali but they accepted there may be a delay. Another rumour about the demi-god of the South India cinema is also doing rounds these days that he is going to play a cameo in Yas Raj Films Dhoom 3. He may play the crucial role of an ideal cop who supports Abhishek Bachchan on his trail to catch the main villain, being played by Aamir Khan in the new movie of the super-hit franchise. It is said that Aamir is also very keen to rope in the senior star for this role. However, nothing has been confirmed yet by the makers.
