Revathi returning to direction with a big Bollywood film?

Noted South actor-director Revathi, who has also impressed people of North India with her powerful performances in many Bollywood films, is reportedly returning to the Hindi film industry. Senior actor Jackie Shroff has confirmed the news, saying, “Revathi is making a feature film in Hindi and I am eager to work with her.” He added, “I’m not sure about the genre. I’ll be meeting her soon to read the script.”

While another source revealed that she is in talks with several other actors for the role and is also narrating her script to all of them, Shroff said, “I’m not sure who else has been approached or signed as I haven’t met her as yet, but from the brief I got, it’s not going to be a small project.”

Revathi has directed Hindi films likeMitr: My Friendin 2002 and Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty and Abhishek Bachchanstarrer Phir Milengein 2004 and she has also acted in many Bollywood films, including,Love(1991),Raat(1992),Darna Marna Hai(2003),Ab Tak Chhappan(2004) andNishabd(2007).
