RGV wanted to make 365 Days ever since he got divorced

Nandoo and Anaika Soti starrer, 365 Days is directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Mainly known for his expertise in gangster, thriller, horror and caper genre of films, this time RGV has stepped into the world of romance. Telling about his experience while making the film, he shared, "To be honest, I felt strange while making the film...  But the truth is that 365 Days is a film I have been waiting to make ever since I was married and got divorced."

The film revolves around a young couple and the ups and down they experience in their married life. However, the maverick director has too undergone twist and turns in his personal life. He married Ratna Varma but later got divorced. He admitted that he has included incidents from his real life but hesitated while talking about them. "Every couple would have gone through, more or less, the same set of incidents, and same heartburn. I got a chance to revisit my old memories and this time, with better understanding ", he said.  

Even he took his daughter’s suggestions before coming up with the project. His daughter was ‘pleasantly surprised and shocked’ after listening about this venture.  He added, “I also think that she was thrilled because, on a personal level, she enjoys this kind of cinema more”. Moreover, he feels his daughter’s married life is boring as there is no drama and conflict but only love. It seems that the director does not like anything which is not spicy, whether it is food or life.
