Samantha To Play Ram Charan’s Maradalu In ‘Rangasthalam 1985’?

Ram Charan and filmmaker Sukumar is all geared up for their next release, ‘Rangasthalam 1985’. While the flick will release next year, it is in the news for all the right reasons. Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is playing the female lead opposite Charan.

In the story that is set in the country side, Charan is playing the role of a villager. If reports are to be believed, Samantha will play Ram Charan’s maradalu in the film. ‘Maradalu’ means sister-in-law in Telugu.

As per a source, “Sam has been trying her best to bring innovation to her rustic role in the village drama. The scenes and conversations between Charan and Sam will be one of the highlights in the film”. Reportedly, Sam gave her nod for the flick because of the unique characterisation of her role.  

Helmed by Sukumar, the flick also features Aadi Pinisetty and Pujita Ponnada.
