Santosh Sivan Feels That Mahesh Babu Has Enormous Star Power

Mahesh Babu is a star who needs no introduction. Apparently, he is the highest grossing star of Tollywood. Cinematographer-filmmaker Santosh Sivan feels that the 41-year star’s presence on the sets is beyond belief. Mahesh will next be seen in A. R. Murugadoss’s impending flick.

The flick is yet-to-be titled. The filming of the movie is progressing with a great pace in Chennai from past three weeks. “The amount of excitement and energy the presence of Mahesh Babu creates in Chennai is astonishing. The star power is enormous. We have shot close to 20 days in Chennai with some major portions covered. We have got the best of combination that will give this film a great avenue to explore the commercial arena to a greater level,” Sivan said in a statement.

This flick is touted to be a bilingual to be made in Tamil and Telugu. Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead opposite the colossal Tollywood star, Mahesh, who will be seen as an intelligence officer in this upcoming film. Interestingly, the film marks the debut of actor-filmmaker S. J. Suryah in the role of an antagonist.
