Sarika not ready to play 40-plus actors’ mom

Senior South actress Sarika is still interested in meaty roles and won’t play mother of 40-plus heroes anytime soon. The actress, who moved to Mumbai after her split with Tollywood superstar Kamal Haasan, is reportedly now in demand for the older roles in both South and Hindi film industries but Sarika still refuses to play mother to 40-plus heroes. A few years ago also she was offered the role of Akshay Kumar's mother in a film but she had refused point blank and her stand remains unchanged. Sarika recently played a doctor in a film and has also given a nod to a couple of other projects, according to sources.
