Shruti Haasan Increases Remuneration Post ‘Puli’ Release
Recently, it was confirmed that Shruti Haasan will be seen opposite Naga Chaitanya in the Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster ‘Premam’. The Srimanthudu actress was dragged into controversy amid Income Tax raids on the crew and cast of ‘Puli’. The Chimbu Deven directorial is doing a great business at the box office and collected Rs. 10.75 crores approximately on its opening day despite the cancellation of the morning shows.
After the success of her recent release, the Yevadu actress has increased her remuneration. According to the reports, the actress has demanded a huge fee for her role in ‘Manju’, the Telugu version of ‘Premam’. Considering the fact that she is apt for the role, the makers went ahead with the decision of matching her fee.
The flick will be helmed by director Chandoo Mondeti and will be bankrolled by S. Radha Krishna under Haarika & Hassine Creations banner. It will also feature Anupama Parameshwaran and Amyra Dastur. The project is expected to go on floors in early 2016.
