Shruti Haasan operated for appendicitis, directed to take complete bed rest

Pretty actress Shruti Haasan was reportedly admitted to Jubilee Hills Apollo hospital on Sunday after she complained of severe stomach ache. Latest reports reveal that the actress has undergone an appendicitis surgery and has been advised to take complete bed rest for some time.

According to a source Shruti celebrated New Year with father Kamal Haasan in Chennai and then, “The next day, she flew to Hyderabad and shot from 6 am till evening. At 8 pm she felt uneasy during a press conference and was rushed to the hospital where she was told to undergo an appendectomy at the earliest." Shruti promptly called her father if she would fly back to Chennai or to Mumbai for treatment when his father advised her to stay in Hyderabad and go ahead with the appendicitis surgery. When her spokesperson was contacted regarding the actress’ bad health condition he said, "She is a brave girl and has been advised to not make any sudden movement for the next eight to 10 days. Kamal sir is calling every hour and her friends from the South fraternity are keeping her company. Tomorrow the doctor will decide when she will get discharged. In a week's time she will get back at work." We wish the beautiful lady a speedy recovery.
