S.S. Rajamouli Opens Up About His Dream Project ‘Garuda’

S.S. Rajamouli started shooting for ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ few days back. The director is devoting all his time to the second part of the magnum opus and is leaving no stone unturned to make it a blockbuster. The film is expected to release in early 2017 around Pongal. The director will start his next venture titled ‘Garuda’ after wrapping up the second instalment.

It is known that ‘Garuda’ is the dream project of the veteran director. It is being said that the film will have a mega budget of Rs. 1000 crore. Lot of people are interested in the project which will star Jr. NTR in the lead role.

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has been often been linked with the venture. Rajamouli cleared all the confusions and opened up about the film. He said, “Mohanlal is one of the great actors of Indian cinema. I always wanted to rope him in one of my movies. But then, he has not been approached by me for Garuda. There is an ample time to think about Garuda project. Until then, I will not contemplate about the movie's cast and crew".
