Surender Reddy Ropes In Shruti Haasan In ‘Thani Oruvan’ Remake?

It is known that ‘Thani Oruvan’ is being remade in Telugu and Ram Charan will be playing the lead role in the film. The makers were hunting for the leading lady and during that process many actresses have been linked with the film. Again, a new name has come forward for the role of the female lead.

According to reports, Shruti Haasan has been approached by director Surender Reddy for the Telugu version of the M. Raja directorial. Sources close to the director claim that the Srimanthudu actress was very happy when she was offered the lead role by the director and she has accepted the it. However, nothing has been confirmed as of now.

Reports suggest that Shruti has been offered a whopping amount of Rs. 1.50 crore for the flick. The actress has worked with the director in ‘Race Gurram’ and has acted with Ram Charan in ‘Yevadu’. The film is in its pre-production stages and is expected to go on floors later this year.
