Suriya’s ‘Singam 3’ Official Release Date Is Out

‘S3’, alias ‘Singam 3’, is the third instalment of the magnum Singam franchise. There were innumerable rumours in the tinsel town regarding the release date of this much awaited film. As per the latest reports, Suriya, Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan starrer ‘Singam 3’ will hit the cinema screens on December 13.

Initially, ‘S3’ was slated to release on Diwali, but Suriya decided to postpone the release date. He did it to avoid the box-office clash of his film with his younger brother Karthi’s impending film ‘Kashmora’. Karthi’s upcoming project is high budget thriller which is slated to hit the screens on Diwali.

‘S3’ is likely to be a blockbuster alike the other films from the Singam squad. The film’s Tamil Nadu distribution rights were sold for a record-breaking amount, ₹41 crore. The film is written and directed by Hari, while K. E. Gnanavel Raja is funding this action opus. Harris Jayaraj has composed the music for the film. It is Hari’s fourth collaboration with Harris Jayaraj.
