Actress Taapsee, who is currently at the peak of her career, is in the limelight these days after her explicit bold avatar in Pink.  However, the gorgeous diva has been away from the Telugu cinema for quite some time, and now she is all set to make a comeback to the Telugu screen with  Ghazi. Taapsee is essaying the role of a Bangladeshi refugee, for which she had slogged so that she could get into the skin of the character. She even hired a tutor so that she could be fluent in the regional language, Bengali.

As per sources, “She wanted to learn the language as it would help her master the nuances of her character. Through the process of filming, she hired a Bengali tutor to help perfect the diction. She was very much into her character and in an effort to become even better, she kept watching Bengali films, and conversed in the language with friends to get the accent right,” “Interestingly for her, a member of her staff was Bengali and that helped her even when she wasn’t on her film’s sets,” the source added.

We cannot doubt Taapsee’s proclivity for diverse languages. Helmed by debutante Sankalp Reddy, Ghazi' is based on the sinking of Pakistani submarine Ghazi off the Vizag coast during the India-Pak war of 1971. Other than Tapsee Pannu, the film also stars Rana Daggubati, KayKay Menon and Om Puri in the lead and the film will hit the big screens this year on February 17.
