The upcoming Telugu remake of the Bollywood flick ‘Hunterrr’ has been tentatively titled Soggadu. The project has roped in Tejaswi Madivada to play one of the three female leads. The original starred Gulshan Devaiya, Radhika Apte, Sai Tamhankar and Veera Saxena.

In the remake, Tejaswi will be playing Veera’s character. Srinivas Avasarala will be the male lead and portray Gulshan Devaiya’s character. Tejaswi recently spoke about the film and shared, “In the original, there were three girls — Radhika Apte, Sai Tamhankar and Veera Saxena, I'll be playing Veera's character, of a college girl who's young Srinivas Avasarala's girlfriend. And I'm so excited to be going back to playing a young girl again and the makers are making me look like I did in Puri Jagannadh's Heart Attack”.

The actress also shared that her character in the film is quite opposite to her real life persona. She hasn’t seen the original completely and is refraining from doing so as she does not want to “end up copying the original character”. The movie is being directed by Naveen Medaram.
