Telugu actress Aarthi Agarwal dies after failed liposuction

Telugu actress Aarthi Agarwal passed away after a failed liposuction surgery. It is said that the actress had breathing trouble post surgery. Following a cardiac arrest on Saturday, the 31-year-old actress passed away.

Arthi’s manager revealed the news. He told IANS, “Aarthi was battling obesity and pulmonary illness. She was undergoing treatment and due to some complications, she suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away”.  South star Khushbu tweeted about the incident and wrote, “Hearing terrible news abt the demise of a young talent #AartiAgarwal in NJ..Hope its untrue..she was the 1st choice 2 play lead in #Winner”.

Reportedly, the actress attempted suicide in 2005, after her break up with co-star Tarun. The Telugu actress made a debut in the Tollywood industry with ‘Nuvvu Naaku Nachav’, which released in 2001. She has featured in hit films such as ‘Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu’, ‘Indra’ and ‘Vasantham’.  Aarthi Agarwal has featured in 25 films and her last film Ranam 2, released this Friday.
