This Actor To Play A Baddie In Akhil Akkineni’s Next

The year didn’t start well for Akhil Akkineni. Firstly, it was the announcement of his engagement to childhood sweetheart Shriya Bhoopal being called off. The last we heard about the actor was that director Vikram K Kumar has written a love story for Akhil but Nagarjuna asked him to make amendments in the story and it was later made a fantasy story. The flick finally started rolling this month.

While Akhil will be playing the male lead, actor Ajay is all prepped up to pull off a grey character in the flick. Ajay has always been Vikram’s favourite and has done films like Ishq and 24 with him. As per a source, “It’s a very interesting role and Vikram felt it was perfectly suited for Ajay. The duo share a great bond as Vikram’s films have always proved to be a career boost for the latter. He willingly agreed to be a part of the film”.

If reports are anything to go by, Ajay has started shooting for the flick. As far as Akhil is concerned, his second film might prove to be a game changer in the industry. Earlier there were reports that Akhil wants Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt in the flick. However, nothing has been confirmed as of now about the female lead.
