This Actress Will Be Varun Tej’s Next Heroine

Varun Tej hails from a family of superstars. Currently busy in the filming of Srinu Vaitla’s ‘Mister’ and Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Fidha’, the 27-year-old actor has signed one more film. The release dates of ‘Mister’ and ‘Fidha’ were delayed as Varun injured himself on the sets of ‘Mister’ and required some time to recover from the injuries.

Interestingly, Varun’s next project, which he has lately signed, will be helmed by a debutant director. Venky Atluri, one of the lead actors in the film ‘Sneha Geetham’, will be helming Tej’s next. The makers of the film were searching for a lead lady and finally their chase is over. Mehreen Kaur Pirzada of ‘Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha’ has been roped to play the lead actress opposite Varun Tej.

‘Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha’ was Mehreen’s debut film and she was highly lauded for playing Mahalakshmi in the flick. Reports are rife that the film will begin rolling from March 2017. Earlier, Dil Raju was touted to bankroll the project, but BVSN Prasad has been locked to produce this yet-to-be titled project. Further updates regarding the flick are expected to be divulged soon.
