The last we heard about the actor was that director Vikram K Kumar has written a love story for Akhil but Nagarjuna asked him to make amendments in the story and it was later made a fantasy story. The flick finally started rolling this month.

However, the latest in the front is that Akhil’s second film is in trouble. If reports are anything to go by, the movie has been stopped as of now as the makers are unable to zero in on any leading lady for the project. The movie has been stopped till the team finds a perfect actress for the role in the film. A birdie chirped in our ears that Akhil wants Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt opposite him in the flick. Well, let’s wait to see who is finalized for the role.

Touted to be a youthful love story, the untitled flick will be helmed by Vikram Kumar and will be bankrolled by Akhil’s father Nagarjuna. Tollywood actor Ajay will pull off a grey character in the flick. Going by the details, we hope the film proves to be a game changer for Akhil.
