This Popular TV host Replaces Amy Jackson In Queen Remake

Amy Jackson recently bagged a Hollywood project which is a superhero television series Supergirl. The glam Liverpudlian has been taken on board to portray the role of ‘Saturn Girl’ in superhero television series Supergirl. However, her international project is making her lose many Indian projects.

If latest reports are to be believed, Jackson has opted out of all four South Indian remakes of Queen to be a part of the superhero TV series. The makers were on a hunt for her replacement and now the latest in the front is that they have found her. Popular TV host Shibani Dandekar has been approached for the role of Lisa Haydon in the Telugu and Malayalam remakes of Bollywood super hit flick Queen.

Talking about Shibani, a source close to the team said, “Shibani is a familiar face to the audiences with her presence on TV, especially as a cricket host. She is definitely a value addition. Also, both Elli and she would add freshness to the screen. They’ll be joining the present schedule in France, where shooting will soon begin”. The flick is being helmed by Neelakanta Reddy.
