Tollywood’s generous gesture towards Hudhud victims

-- Tollywood celebrities are always ahead in extending their support and solidarity, whenever some natural calamities happened. Off late, the Telugu Film industry is actively participating in rescue operations for the areas which have been adversely affected by the Hudhud cyclone. Famous personalities have put their steps forward to donate generously and provide emotional and financial support to the Hudhud victims.

Popular actor Pawan Kalyan has announced 50 lakhs for the victims of Hudhud cyclone across Coastal Andhra. "I am deeply anguished by the calamity that has swept through Vizag and North Andhra. The plight of lakhs of people who have been destabilised is unimaginable. My heart aches for them," Pawan Kalyan said in a statement.

Ramanaidu, too has announced 50 lakhs towards the Hudhud victims, while actor Mahesh Babu has generously donated 25 lakhs. Other popular actors NTR, Allu Arjun and Prabhas have contributed 20 Lakhs each, towards the victims. Nagarjuna on behalf of Akkineni foundation has contributed Rs 20 lakhs towards Hudhud.

Actor Nithin too donated 20 Lakhs. The actor took to the micro-blogging site and wrote, “I did my bit for #HudHudRelief n donated all the costumes used for ISHQ N GJG.. now its ur turn to do ur bit..lets help our ppl in need..”

Ram Charan donated a handsome amount of 15 lakhs to the victims with other materialistic support. Other celebrities who have contribute their bit for this noble cause include Krishna and Vijaya Nirmala, Kona Venkat, Allari Naresh, Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Sundeep Kishan, Sampoornesh Babu, Gopichand Malineni and Rakul Preet Singh.

Besides contributing big-heartedly, actors have also appealed to their fans and supporters to step out and participate in the relief operations.
