Vaisakham Is A Special Film For Avantika Mishra

After making her debut with the film ‘Maaya’ in 2014, Avantika Mishra will next be seen in ‘Vaisakham’ which will hit theatres on July 21. She recently revealed that after her first film, she did not think of becoming an actor but now, she wants to get into full time acting. ‘Vaisakham’ will have Avantika play the role of a value oriented girl named Bhanumathi.

Talking about her character, the actress shared, “The character is strong and very close to her father. I can relate to this as I am also close to my father”. Avantika also spoke about deciding to become an actor and said, “I played state-level badminton and didn’t think I would become an actor. But somehow, I made my way into this world of glamour”.

She also said that her character’s emotional side got her interested in the role. The actress is working on speaking Telugu and shared that she is a fast learner and understands the language well. Avantika will share screen space with Harish in the film, which has been directed by B Jaya.
