Venkatesh To Lead The Cast In The Telugu Remake Of ‘Hindi Medium’?

Bollywood flick 'Hindi Medium' garnered lot of appreciation from the movie buffs and also did a wonderful business at the box-office. Starring Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar in the lead roles, the film is a situational comedy based on social issues. Now if latest reports are to be believed, the film will have a Telugu remake.

The Telugu remake of the hit Hindi film will see actor Venkatesh in it. Filmmaker Nandhini Reddy is working on the script and soon the team will finalise it. Venkatesh will go ahead with the project after the makers are done with the script.

Venkatesh was last seen in 'Guru' which was the remake of Tamil hit 'Irudhi Suttru' starring R Madhavan. On a related note, 'Hindi Medium' is also a remake of director Rajesh Nair's Malayalam hit 'Salt Mango Tree'. It featured Biju Menon, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli and Suhasini Maniratnam in the lead.
