Venkatesh’s New Film Titled Bangaru Babu

Known for his movies Gopala Gopala and Drushyam, actor Venkatesh new film will be titled Bangaru Babu. The movie will be directed by Maruthi who has showed his directorial prowess in movies like Kotha Janta, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy and Bus stop. The director came up with the title ‘Bangaru Babu’ after a lot of brainstorming.

Venkatesh wanted to have a different title for the film initially. According to reports, he preferred the movie name Diamond Raja but was convinced by Maruthi for the title. The movie will be a family drama with Venkatesh playing the role of a funny cop. Bangaru Babu will be launched in Hyderabad on December 16.

Venkatesh will share screen space with actress Nayantara who will be the female lead of the film. The music will be scored by Ghibran and Suryadevara Vamsi will produce the film under the Sitara Entertainments banner. The shooting for the film will commence after the launch day.
