Venkatesh’s Next A Mythological Film?

Tollywood star Daggubati Venkatesh recently starred in the Telugu remake of critically acclaimed Madhavan-starrer Bollywood boxing drama ‘Saala Khadoos’. The flick was titled ‘Guru’ in Telugu. The flick raked in enough money at the box-office and was well received by the critics too.

After the flick, which released on March 31, the actor has not yet zeroed in on any other script. He is taking a break and is spending quality time with his family. However, if reports are anything to go by, the actor has read a script and had given his nod for it. Reportedly, the flick is a mythological one, titled ‘Hiranyakashipa’.

The flick will be helmed by Gunasekhar. The filmmaker narrated the script to the actor some time back but the latter has showed his interest in the film now. As per a source, “Gunasekhar is known for his visual grandeur and has also directed a mythological film ‘Bala Ramayanam’. So, Venky is definitely interested in it”. The mythological flick will need a lot of computer graphics.
