    Veteran Telugu film producer Thammareddy Krishnamurthy has reportedly breathed his last on Monday. He was 93. Age related issues are said to be behind the eminent film personality’s sad demise.

    One of his family friends said, "He died early this morning due to some old age related issues at C.R Foundation home for the aged in Kondapur (Andhra Pradesh).” Born in 1920 in Chinapalaparru village in Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh,Krishnamurthyestablished his career with theatre. Then he started producing films under his home productionRavindra Art Pictures. He produced several Telugu classics like Lakshadhikari, Bangarau Gajaulu, Dharma Daata, Zamindar and Doctor Babu. He was honoured with Raghupathi Venkaiah award in 2007. He is survived by his son Thammareddy Bharadwaja who is a popular Telugu filmmaker.
