Vetrimaaran's film with Simbu shelved, signs Dhanush in next film

Ace filmmaker Vetrimaaran has reportedly signed Tollywood superstar Dhanush for his next film and not multifaceted star Simbu as earlier rumoured. The award-winning director has informed that the venture with Simbu had to be shelved due to date’s problem as the actor is busy with other projects and now he will be taking his favourite actor Dhanush in his next film. The filmmaker however denies having any differences between him and Simbu and said they may work together in a future project.

"Dhanush and I have decided to work together and I have just started scripting the flick. Nothing else has been finalised and the casting process will take at least a month," Vetrimaaran said. The film will be produced by Cloudnine Movies and GV Prakash will compose music for this film.
