Vijay Dad’s Puts Rumours To Rest

It was brushed away by many as just a humour, however, a strong confirmation has come from the head of the family. The fairytale love story that turned into marriage between director Vijay and actress Amala Paul has hit a dead end, the couple is splitting.

It was Vijay’s father who confirmed the news that has been doing the rounds in industry. A.L. Azhagappan also made the reason for their calling it quits public by revealing that Amala assured that she would quit acting post her marriage, but now she is going back on her words.

The dad added that the Naayak actress has recently signed Tamil and Malayalam projects too. There was also persuasion from Amala family member to quit acting and settle down in family, but that didn’t work too as per her father-in-law. The differences have gone too much and the pair will part their ways very soon.
