Vikrams I to be costliest South Indian movie after Rajnis Endhiran

If reports are to be believed then Tamil superstar Vikram next film I is going to be one of the costliest films of the South Indian film industry just after Rajinikanth-Aishwarya Rai starrer Endhiran, which was made with a budget of Rs 150 crore. It is being touted that for renowned filmmaker Shankars next film, producer Aascar V Ravichandran is ready to shell out a whopping Rs 70 crores. The film which stars Samantha as the female lead opposite Vikram, was earlier titled Therdhal but now it will be called I. Oscar winner AR Rahman will be composing music for the much-anticipated film, and PC Sreeram will be doing the cinematography work. Shankar has himself written the script of the film, which is expected to be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages simultaneously.
